On Anniversary, we met up for a short lunch at Hog's Tail, Chijmes. The place looks nothing more than your normal Kenny Rogers or Tony Romas, but lo and behold, they've got great beef.

In fact, Mr Sim suggested the 'upsized' version, which I gamely accepted. Along with a finger-food platter and desert, our conversation soon dwindled, because we were too busy fighting the queasiness from overfeeding.

Nonetheless, it will still be on our recommended list to get some good beef.

Mr Sim took half day's leave, and he spent the rest of the afternoon by sleeping by the poolside of his gym at One George Street.

If you haven't been there, this gym's got a great view of the structures of Singapore's busiest business district.

Later in the evening, Mr Sim and I met up again for Part 2. He had gotten a movie premier invitation for World Trade Centre at Vivo City. I thought that was special. There was buffet dinner and free popcorn and drinks. We caught some footage of the films coming in 2007 as well.

Speaking of Vivocity, I thought the tenant mix was very similar to MS. With the new additions of Naf Naf which returned to our shores after a long hiatus, and Pull & Bear another fashionable Spanish player. Looks like the retail scene is set to sizzle even more.
