The thing about getting married is, that people have the conception that it is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and everyone wants it to turn out as close to perfect as it can.

I've only been to 3 wedding shows, read 2 bridal magazines, and I'm about to make a big decision - to decide on my wedding boutique. Some girls will think I must be insane to decide so quickly, but hey, try visiting a bridal boutique every weekend, trying 5 to 10 gowns at each visit, and then telling the wedding consultant, "I'll think about it." Woah, that's a very tiring and pai-say thing to do!

Lucky for me, I sort of already had shortlisted what I want.

So on Sunday, 19th Nov 2006, I went down to the boutique alone, (and unarmed), mentally bracing myself for the slew of sales closing talk I might encounter.

I made an appointment with the lead designer. She started off by showing some gowns which she thought were suitable for me, gving me realistic and genuime comments . I must have tried on almost 8 to 10 gowns in the 30mins I was there. Yes! Quite a few caught my fancy.

I then proceeded to ask for the packages. The pricing was not OTT, rather reasonable, actually. Since Mr Sim wasn't around, I told her I'll come along another day. To that, her response was very cool and professional, and she didn't come up with crappy sales talk at all. I was very glad with that.

The designer had definitely left me a good impression.
